Who is allowed to transfer to the new examination regulations (PO 2023)?
Every student will be transferred to the new examination regulations automatically. If you would like to continue studying according to the examination regulations of 2011, you have to submit the official request form (linked above) to Ms Elvira Böhler (F258) until 15.12. the latest.
If you are in the third semester or higher and wish to transfer to the new examination regulations, but you either do not have 30 ECTS or more or did not pass at least two of the three compulsory courses in the area Quantitative Economics, you can still transfer to the new examination regulations. In this case you will be granted a one year extension to meet the above mentioned requirements.

Until when do I need to decide?
The deadline to request a continuation of studies according to the examination regulations of 2011 is 15.12.2023. Otherwise, you will be automatically transferred to the new exam regulations (PO 2023).
Will my achievements be recognoized, if I transfer to the new exam regulations?
Yes, all of your previous achievements will be transferred.
