On 14th of May at 12:00 in the University Library ("Schulungsecke") Prof. Dr. Isabell Otto, the Pro-Rector for Diversity and Career Development, will open the international art exhibition "Remember Maryam Mirzakhani".
The exhibition is an initiative of the Committee for Women in Mathematics of the International Mathematical Union, it consists of 18 orginal posters featuring work and life of Maryam. The curator of the exhibition is Thais Jordao and Rafael Meireles Barroso is the designer. The exhibition was shown in many countries of the world including Brasil, Canada, France, Iran, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Turkey and the USA. The exhibition can be seen in the University Library until 29th of May 2024.
