The University of Konstanz recently hosted the fifth project workshop within the Erasmus+ Project PAGOSTE (Nr.609536-EPP-1-2019-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP) from June 5th to June 7th, 2023. The workshop gathered 25 participants from Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Ukraine to discuss the progress and coordination of activities related to the national dimension of Ukrainian vocational teacher education in the final phase of the project.

In addition to the workshop, the University of Konstanz (UKON) organized a round table session where participants had the opportunity to engage with UKON students from the Bachelor's and Master's study programs. This provided valuable insights into the students' perspectives on their studies, motivation, and future career plans.

During the workshop, a special celebration took place to honour Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Thomas Deissinger, who was awarded a Doctor honoris causa by the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy from Kharkiv on April 27, 2023. Representatives from the Academy handed over the honorary diploma, which they had brought along from Kharkiv. All project partners warmly congratulated Prof. Deissinger on this prestigious recognition and expressed their wishes for future successful scientific projects and fruitful research results.

The Erasmus+ Project PAGOSTE workshop at the University of Konstanz served as a platform for meaningful discussions and collaborations among international participants. It further reinforced the project's objective of enhancing vocational teacher education in Ukraine and fostering coordination across national boundaries.
