Celebrating graduation - Graduation ceremony 2018
On December 1st, around 125 graduates convened for their graduation ceremony with guests and professors. Six of them received an award of excellence - congratulations!
Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Volker Hahn welcomed the graduates and their families and friends as well as representatives of the Department. This year's speech was given by Stefan Ries, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Member of the Board at SAP SE.
This year's VEUK awards of excellence were awarded to:
- Andreas Freilinger (BSc Economics)
- Calvin Feineis (BSc Mathematical Finance)
- Sina Streicher (MSc Mathematical Finance)
- Giovanni Ballarin (MSc Economics)
- Sarah Morena Walter (MSc Economics and Business Education)
- Alvaro Enrique Uzaheta Berdugo (MSc Social and Economic Data Analysis)
Afterwards, this year's teaching price for junior scientists was awarded to:
- Juniorprofessor Dr. Luna Bellani
- Maurizio Daniele
- Dr. Elisabeth Maué
- Juniorprofessor Dr. Stephan Maurer
