In general, please feel free to ask me for letters of recommendation for master or doctoral programmes as well as for programmes abroad.
However, there are some prerequisites if you are considering me as a reference: Please make sure that I am familiar with you and your work, i. e. you need to have successfully attended my class(es).
If you require a recommendation for a master programme, your grade average needs to be at least 2.5 or better. To request a letter of recommendation, please fill in the web application form on the Department of Economics homepage until 3 weeks before the application deadline at the latest.
If you require a recommendation for a PhD program, you should have shown an excellent performance in one of my courses or write your Master thesis at my chair. To request a letter of recommendation, please send me all relevant documents (CV, grade transcript, letter of motivation) via email. I will then invite you for an appointment during my office hours, so that you should make sure to make your request well in advance.
