Call for Papers

We invite you to submit a paper for the Search and Matching Workshop: Labor market dynamics: the role of product and financial market imperfections. The workshop is to be held in Konstanz, Germany from the 4th to the 5th of July, 2016. The plenary lecture will be given by Gianluca Violante (New York University).

The workshop has the aim of bringing together high quality papers on labor market search. Given the strength of the literature to quantitatively assess theoretical models, the aim of the workshop is to promote the connection of theory and quantitative applications addressing policy relevant questions. Special emphasis of the workshop is on contributions studying the labor market implications of product market and financial market imperfections.

Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome. Each paper presented will be assigned a discussant. We strongly encourage junior academics and advanced PhD students to submit a paper.

To submit a paper or express your interest in the workshop, please send an e-mail with your paper in pdf format. The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2016.

We look forward to receiving your papers.
