Honorary doctorate for Prof. Deissinger from the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy (UEPA) in Kharkiv
On 27 April 2023, Prof. Deissinger was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy (UEPA) in Kharkiv. On this occasion, Prof. Deissinger gave an online lecture on the topic of "Dualisation of Higher Education" as part of the online celebration at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy (UEPA), Kharkiv, Ukraine.

JVET graduate student bursary
Hanna Heininger was awarded the bursary for doctoral students at the JVET conference 2023 at the Oxford University for the submitted abstract "Matching Problems between the Labour Market and Education System and their Implications on Vocational Education and Training - an Analysis of the Canadian Case".

Our academic staff member, Dr Vera Braun, has been appointed to a junior professorship for educational science, in particular business education, at the University of Hamburg. She will start there on 1st September 2024.
We congratulate her and wish her all the best for her new challenges!
